Sažetak: Reka Đetinja izvire na istočnim i jugoistočnim padinama planine Tare. U najnižem delu Požeške kotline prima pritoku Skrapež, a nešto nizvodnije sa Golijskom Moravicom gradi Zapadnu Moravu. Prirodne karakteristike sliva, pogotovo hidrološke, nisu dovoljno istražene, a samim tim i nedovoljno iskorišćene. Zbog toga su neophodna detaljna istraživanja voda u ovom slivu da bi se njegov vodni potencijal maksimalno iskoristio, a da se pri tome ekosistem očuva od negativnog antropogenog uticaja. Ovaj rad predstavlja pokušaj da se u najkraćim crtama prikažu osnovne osobine njenog sliva, režima i vodoprivrednih problema.

Abstract: Đetinja River originates in eastern and southeastern slopes of Tara Mountain. In the lowest part of the Požega valley receives tributary Skrapež, and downstream together with Golijska Moravica River make Zapadna Morava River. Natural features of the basin, especially hydrological, are not sufficiently researched and consequently this area is under-exploited. Therefore, detailed studies of water in this basin are required, in order to use its maximal water potential on one side, and to preserve the ecosystem of the negative anthropogenic influence on the other side. This paper is an attempt to briefly present the basic characteristics of its watershed, water regime and water management problems.
